They say only a few minutes of bravery can change your life, and I happen to believe they’re right. Taking time for yourself is life-changing. And boudoir photography is a beautiful way to unlock that inner goddess that’s been waiting to shine.

You don’t have to already have confidence BEFORE a shoot.The confidence comes DURING and AFTER our shoot….because it is only then that you realise that the woman you always wanted to be was within you all along.
Almost all of my clients think that they are going to be the one.The one I can’t photograph.

Most nervously find themselves in the lobby of the building, taking baby steps to my studio door, trying to decide if they are going to turn and run for their lives or not.

I’ve heard it all:

• “I needed to lose weight for this, but didn’t lose any, and now I know they won’t look good.”
• “I am not photogenic”
• “There isn’t anything special about me.”
• “Lingerie isn’t my thing.”
• “I don’t know how to be sexy”
• “I can’t think of anything I love about myself”
• “I never spend money on myself”
  And the big one:
• “I’m going to be that one person you can’t make beautiful.”

I’ve got a newsflash for you, babe. Never have I ever made someone beautiful.
Sure, I am amazing at what I do, and I have had lots of practice.But we don’t MAKE you beautiful.
All of the elements that I photograph are already there.I photograph what I see, I do NOT photograph what YOU see.
The magic and life-changing part of a boudoir experience with us is that we get to give you a new set of eyes. You won’t be viewing yourself through the eyes of a tired mum, a busy boss-lady, a wife/sister/daughter…we are going to leave all your labels at the door. 

Because while all of those titles make your life feel so full and happy, they aren’t WHO you are.For a few hours, we are going back to who YOU are, at your very core. You are going to experience new things – some might be a tad scary, but I promise you – once that very first pose is done, your nerves will MELT.
There are no distractions on your big day – no intimidating studio lights, no one walking in and out while you are mid-pose, no critical eyes judging your every move.
It’s just us, girlfriend. I walk you through every single movement you make – down to how you breathe, where you look, what you do with your hands.
I am the potter and you are the clay.

Maybe you’ve considered a boudoir experience, but any time you get even remotely close to going for it, life happens. Maybe you can’t silence the voices in your head telling you that you can’t or shouldn’t, maybe you keep waiting—hoping that the “right time” will just come out of nowhere.
The truth? There is no “right time” – tomorrow is not guaranteed. 

The only thing you have, for sure, is this moment. THIS MOMENT. And I promise you—if you just step out on blind faith: no matter what you weigh, how much money you make, or the status of your relationship..if you just DECIDE that this is what you really want—we can make it happen, together.
But you’ll never make it here, until you get really clear on making that decision. You have to have a “why” that is strong enough, so that no matter what life throws at you, you’ll end up here, in front of my lens.

Every woman’s “why” is a little different, but I want to offer to you that “because I want to” is good enough. You deserve this—the moment that makes you feel so grateful for all the other moments that led you here. 

This is the space where we celebrate the woman you’ve always been, even if she felt far away—the one who has been through hell, who has doubted herself, who has felt like nothing, who has had every reason not to make it…And yet, here you are.

CONFIDENCE

I want to talk to you about what it is, and what it is NOT.
So many of you think that in order to book (or rock) a session, you have to have confidence first. You think you’ll find your confidence by waiting and hoping: waiting to lose or gain weight, waiting for a surgery, hoping to lose some cellulite, waiting to feel sexier, waiting to be in a relationship, waiting to like how you look in your clothes (or without them) – fill in the blank. 
You are just hoping one day you’ll wake up and feel CONFIDENT and SEXY AF.

But that’s just not how it works. 

HOPING IS NOT A STRATEGY. You need a PLAN. You can’t stake your confidence on losing weight, getting down to a certain size, or finding a good partner. And confidence isn’t something you ‘need’ before a session, either.
Confidence will find you in the middle of doing the hard thing that you thought you couldn’t do. Confidence is finding security within yourself–it’s feeling like you no longer need to play the comparison game, but standing tall in who you are. It’s being kind–it’s sharing your light with others, because you are sure of what you have to offer.
I can help you find your confidence, even amongst your fear.
